RestroFood lets you choose how order invoices are printed, either as a standard Normal Printer invoice (A4/letter-style layout) or as a Thermal/Receipt Printer invoice (narrow receipt-style layout for POS thermal printers). This setting is controlled from the plugin’s Invoice Settings page.
Where to find it
- In your WordPress dashboard, go to RestroFood > Settings in the left-hand admin menu.
- On the Settings page, open the Invoice Settings tab (bottom of the settings list).
- At the top of the Invoice Settings page, use the Invoice Type dropdown to choose between:
- Normal Printer
- Thermal/Receipt Printer

What each option does

Both layouts display the same order information: restaurant details, order ID, order date, delivery type, pickup/delivery time, payment method, billing information, itemized order details, discount, shipping/delivery fees, and total, just formatted differently for the printer type selected.

Related settings on the same page
While you’re on the Invoice Settings tab, you can also configure:
- Logo Upload – upload a logo to display on the invoice.
- Invoice header restaurant name – text shown as the restaurant name in the invoice header.
- Invoice header restaurant Address – text shown as the restaurant address in the invoice header.
- Invoice Footer Text – custom message shown at the bottom of the invoice (e.g., “Thank you for your shopping”).
Saving your changes
After selecting the Invoice Type and filling in any header/footer/logo details, click Save Settings at the bottom of the page to apply the changes. All future invoices will print using the selected layout.
