How to Upload Invoice Logo and Header/Footer Text in RestroFood?

How to Upload Invoice Logo and Header Footer Text in RestroFood

RestroFood lets you brand every printed order invoice with your own restaurant logo, a custom header (name and address), and a footer message such as a thank-you note.

This guide walks you through where to find these options and how to set them up.

Where to Find It

  • From your WordPress dashboard, hover over RestroFood in the left sidebar.
  • Click Settings.
  • In the settings menu on the left, click Invoice Settings.

You’ll land on the Invoice Settings page, which controls how your printed order invoices/receipts look, including the logo, header text, footer text, and font sizing.

Where are the Order Invoice Settings in RestroFood?

Step 1: Choose Your Invoice Type

At the top of the page, the Invoice Type dropdown lets you choose the print format your invoice is built for, for example, Thermal/Receipt Printer. If you select the thermal option, a Thermal Invoice Width field appears where you can set the print width in pixels (the default is 270px, based on 2-inch thermal paper).

Step 2: Upload Your Logo

  • Find the Logo Upload field.
  • Click the Upload button next to it.
  • Select an image from your WordPress Media Library, or upload a new one from your computer.
  • Once uploaded, the image URL will appear in the Logo Upload field automatically.
  • Use the Logo Width field below it to set how large the logo appears on the invoice (measured in pixels – 100px is a common starting size).

Tip: Use a logo with a transparent background and a wide/rectangular shape, this tends to print more cleanly on thermal receipts than a large square image.

Step 3: Add Your Invoice Header Text

Just below the logo settings, you’ll find two fields that control the text shown at the top of every invoice:

  • Invoice header restaurant name – enter your restaurant’s name (e.g., “RestroFood“). This prints above your logo/order details as the invoice header.
  • Invoice header restaurant Address – enter your restaurant’s address (e.g., “Dhaka, Bangladesh”). This prints just below the restaurant name.

Step 4: Add Your Invoice Footer Text

In the Invoice Footer Text field, type the message you’d like printed at the bottom of every invoice; for example, “Thanks for your order!” This is a good spot for a short thank-you note, a return policy line, or contact details.

Step 5: (Optional) Adjust Font Sizes

If your logo, header, or footer text looks too small or too large once printed, you can fine-tune readability using the font size fields further down the page:

SettingControls
Order details Font SizeSize of the line-item/order details text
Table Font SizeSize of the order items table text
Header Text Font SizeSize of the restaurant name/address header
Footer Text Font SizeSize of the footer message

Step 6: Save Your Settings

Once you’re happy with your logo, header, and footer, click the orange Save Settings button (available at both the top and bottom of the page) to apply your changes.

Where This Appears

Your logo, header text, and footer text will now print automatically at the top and bottom of every order invoice generated through RestroFood, whether printed from the order admin screen or via a connected receipt/thermal printer.

Related Settings on the Same Page

While this guide focuses on the logo, header, and footer, the Invoice Settings page also includes a few checkboxes worth knowing about, in case you want to customize what else appears on the invoice:

  • Show Delivery Type
  • Show Payment Method
  • Show Billing Info Heading
  • Show Shipping Info

Enabling any of these adds that information to the printed invoice alongside your logo and header/footer text.

That’s it, your RestroFood invoices are now branded with your logo, restaurant details, and a custom footer message.
