Restrofood Table Reservation Settings

The RestroFood Table Reservation Settings panel allows administrators to configure reservation form behavior, reservation availability, email notifications, and reservation time management.

You can customize how the reservation system works directly from the WordPress admin dashboard.

Navigate to Reservation Settings

From your WordPress admin dashboard:

RestroFood → Settings → Table Reservation

Here you will find all reservation-related configuration options.

Available Settings Options

1. Reservation Form Title

This option allows you to change the reservation form title displayed on the frontend reservation page.

Example:

Book Your Table

or

Make a Reservation

Changing this title helps match your restaurant branding and website design.


2. Reservation Form Description

This option allows you to change the reservation form description text.

You can use this area to provide reservation instructions or important information for customers.

Example:

Reserve your table online easily. Please arrive 10 minutes before your reservation time.

This description will appear below the reservation form title.


3. Close Reservation

This is a switch option used to temporarily disable reservation functionality.

Available Options:

  • Enable
  • Disable

When enabled, customers will not be able to place new reservations from the reservation form.

This option is useful for:

  • Restaurant holidays
  • Temporary maintenance
  • Fully booked schedules
  • Emergency closures

4. Reservation Close Message

This option allows you to display a custom message when reservations are closed.

Example:

Sorry, We are not available to take reservation for 3 days.

The message will appear on the reservation page when the Close Reservation option is enabled.

You can customize the message based on your situation.


5. Reservation Time Slot

This option is used to configure reservation time intervals.

The selected time slot controls the time gap between available reservation times in the reservation form.

It works with the reservation form:

  • From Time
  • Until Time

fields.

30 Minutes

Available times:

6. Active Email Notification

This is a switch option used to enable or disable reservation email notifications.

Available Options:

  • Enable
  • Disable

When enabled, customers will receive automated reservation-related email notifications.

Email notifications may include:

  • Reservation placed confirmation
  • Reservation approval
  • Reservation status updates
  • Reservation cancellation notifications

7. Reservation Placed Email Template

This is a select option used to choose the email template for newly placed reservations.

RestroFood provides a custom email template creation system, and all created templates will appear in this dropdown list.

Admins can select which email template should be used when a customer submits a new reservation request.

Example Usage:

  • Thank you for your reservation
  • Reservation request received
  • Booking confirmation email

This helps customize customer communication professionally.


8. Reservation Status Change Email Template

This option allows you to select the email template used when reservation status changes.

Available templates are loaded from the custom email templates created in RestroFood.

The selected template will be used for reservation status update notifications such as:

  • Approved
  • Cancelled
  • Completed

This helps automatically notify customers about reservation updates.


Save Settings

After updating the settings:

  1. Review all configuration options.
  2. Click the Save Changes button.

Your reservation settings will be updated immediately.
